Striker

OMG…little ball of fluff.

I received a training request for an Old English Sheepdog puppy.

This adorable ball of black and white fluff was about 3 months old the first time I met him.

His family was completely overwhelmed about where to start training their new family member.

Our first session together, Striker was introduced to a new treat that he found to be WAAYYYY too good to eat immediately. He put on quite a show rolling around on it, licking it, picking it up, tossing it in the air, and rubbing all over it. He encored his performance over and over. It cracked us all up!

This boy has always been food motivated and loves learning. It was a great combo. After training together, I was lucky to see him consistently with daily walks and vacation stays. I even got to nanny for his human sibling a few summers ago!

He is the neighborhood greeter and everyone knows and loves Striker Man. His family went above and beyond socializing him at the appropriate times. I adore how his personality has developed. Striker is a great balanced dog and PUP-model for learning puppies. I have had the privilege of introducing him to other puppies. Striker gives other dogs and puppies a great socialization experience, in a positive and safe place.

He is a champion on leash, but still loves the occasional squirrel! Who doesn’t?

His favorite place to go is Home Depot. He is a local celebrity in his neighborhood. He knows those orange aprons equal treats and lots of attention. This family, DAY ONE, did all of the essential steps to have and deserve such an amazing dog. I have been so blessed to work with Striker and his forever family. They will always have a very special place in my heart.
