Dog Training Waiver and Release of Liability I, the undersigned ("Client"), understand and agree that Roseanna Burnam, operating as an independent professional in the business of positive reinforcement dog training in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, will work directly with me and my dog(s) to impart current, science-based animal behavior knowledge and skills that best fit our needs. I acknowledge that the success of any training or behavior modification program depends not only on the skills of the trainer but also on the ongoing commitment and consistency of the Client. I understand and agree that: No Guarantee of Results: Animal behavior is dynamic and cannot be guaranteed. While Roseanna Burnam will make every reasonable effort to help achieve desired training goals, she makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding the results or behavior of any dog(s) following participation in training sessions or programs. Owner Responsibility: I remain solely and ultimately responsible for the behavior and actions of my dog(s) at all times, even during training sessions or programs. This includes any damage or injury caused by my dog(s) to persons, other animals, or property. Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that dog training, including obedience training and behavior modification, carries inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, injury to myself, my dog(s), others, or property. I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen. Release of Liability: I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims, actions, or causes of action, whether known or unknown, that I, my heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns may have now or in the future against Roseanna Burnam, her family, agents, contractors, volunteers, or representatives ("Her Agents") arising out of or relating to any injury, damage, or loss resulting from services rendered, including claims based on the alleged negligence of Roseanna Burnam or Her Agents. Veterinary and Emergency Care: In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Roseanna Burnam or Her Agents to seek veterinary care for my dog(s) at my expense. I understand that efforts will be made to contact me prior to obtaining such care, when possible. Media Release: I grant permission for Roseanna Burnam to take and use photos or video recordings of me and/or my dog(s) for educational, promotional, or social media purposes, without compensation. Mediation and Arbitration: In the event of a dispute or misunderstanding, I agree to attempt resolution first through informal negotiation, followed by mediation or binding arbitration, before pursuing legal action. Any arbitration shall take place exclusively in Dallas County, Texas. Attorney’s Fees: In any legal action or proceeding relating to this agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs. Entire Agreement: This agreement represents the entire understanding between the Client and Roseanna Burnam. No oral modifications or representations are valid unless agreed to in writing and signed by both parties. Severability: If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. By selecting the “Accept” option, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement.
